Speakers

Tom Pearson
Tom is a sales manager with responsibility for clients in the South of England and Midlands. Prior to joining Guinness, Tom was UK nationwide sales director at CRUX Asset Management. Previously he was head of wholesale sales at Alliance Trust Investments, head of UK discretionary sales at Jupiter Asset Management, and UK sales manager at Baillie Gifford. He started his career at James Capel Unit Trust Management in 1989. Tom graduated from the University of Edinburgh.

Will James
Will is portfolio manager on the Guinness European Equity Income and Guinness Pan-European Equity Income strategies. Prior to joining Guinness, Will was manager of the Premier Miton European Equity Income Fund. He began his investment career at Adam Investment Management where he managed the CF Adam Worldwide Fund. In 2009 he launched the Standard Life Investments Europe ex-UK Equity Income Fund. Will graduated from Edinburgh University with a Master’s degree in French and Business. He is a CFA Charterholder, holds the Securities Institute Diploma and has passed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Valerie Huang
Valerie is an investment analyst for the Asia & Emerging Markets team. Valerie worked as a Research Analyst at Ardevora Asset Management, covering both long and short ideas across all regions. Valerie graduated from University College, London, with a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and is a CFA charterholder.

Joseph Stephens
Joseph is portfolio manager on the Guinness Global Quality Mid Cap strategy. Joseph graduated with a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath before graduating with a Master’s degree in Investment Management from the Henley Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder and has passed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Will Clark
Will is responsible for managing and growing our relationships with intermediaries including IFAs, Wealth Managers and Private Banks across the UK. Prior to joining Guinness, Will has previously worked at Mariana Capital, The Ingenious Group, Barclays Wealth and UBS Wealth. Will holds a B.A (Hons) degree in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Southampton.
