Edward Guinness

Edward is Chief Executive of Guinness Global Investors and a fund manager in the Guinness EIS Team.  Prior to joining Guinness, Edward worked from 2002 as a merger arbitrage analyst for the Arbitrage Associates Fund at the Tiedemann Investment Group in New York. In 1998 he joined HSBC Investment Bank, where he worked in the Corporate Finance Department in the Energy & Utilities Team and in the Telecoms & Technology Team.

Dr Ian Mortimer

Ian is portfolio manager on the Guinness Global Equity Income strategy and the Guinness Global Innovators strategy. Prior to Guinness, Ian completed a D.Phil. in experimental physics at Christ Church, University of Oxford in 2006. Along with Matthew Page, Ian founded the investment philosophy behind the Guinness Global Equity Income fund.

Jonathan Waghorn

Jonathan is portfolio manager of the Guinness Sustainable Energy Fund and the Guinness Global Energy Fund. Jonathan has 20 years’ experience in the energy sector. He was a Shell drilling engineer in the Dutch North Sea and worked as an energy consultant with Wood Mackenzie before becoming co-head of Goldman Sachs energy equity research in 2000. He joined Investec as co-manager on the Investec Global Energy Fund in 2008 and joined Guinness Global Investors in 2013.

Will Riley

Will is portfolio manager of the Guinness Global Energy Fund, Guinness Sustainable Energy Fund and the Guinness Global Money Managers Fund. Prior to joining Guinness, Will was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers for six years, first in the London Middle Market Assurance Team, then as a valuation specialist in the Valuation & Strategy division.

Will James

Will is portfolio manager on the Guinness European Equity Income and Guinness Pan-European Equity Income strategies. Prior to joining Guinness, Will was manager of the Premier Miton European Equity Income Fund. He began his investment career at Adam Investment Management where he managed the CF Adam Worldwide Fund. In 2009 he launched the Standard Life Investments Europe ex-UK Equity Income Fund. Will graduated from Edinburgh University with a Master’s degree in French and Business. He is a CFA Charterholder, holds the Securities Institute Diploma and has passed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Edmund Harriss

Edmund is head of Asian & Emerging Market investments, serves as a director on the board of Guinness Global Investors and is Chief Investment Officer. Edmund has managed the Guinness Asian Equity Income strategy since its inception in 2013.
