The Fund has adopted the Sustainability Focus label under the UK's Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR), reflecting an objective to invest in assets that pursue positive environmental and social outcomes alongside financial return.
Understanding impact is increasingly viewed as a third dimension of investment expertise, alongside the established disciplines of assessing investment risk and return.
A proprietary Impact Engine evaluates the intensity of the positive impact created by each company's products and services, providing an overall impact intensity rating. This sits alongside fundamental quality analysis, which assesses business model strength, financial management and the handling of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
