Overview

Objective

The FP WHEB Sustainability Impact Fund seeks capital growth over the long term by investing globally in companies providing solutions to critical social and environmental challenges.

Investment Approach

The global economy is in the early stages of a transition to a zero-carbon, nature-positive and more sustainable system. Technologies and business models that stabilise the climate and support biodiversity are becoming more prevalent, while demand grows for better healthcare and healthier lifestyles to support ageing populations.

The FP WHEB Sustainability Impact Fund invests in these industries of the future, targeting high-quality, innovative businesses able to convert this demand into profits and attractive long-term returns.

Pursuing the fund's sustainability objective can also carry unintended or negative impacts - investing in vaccine development, for example, may increase the use of plastics.

The figures shown are illustrative estimates, not a record of actual outcomes. They are calculated on a best efforts basis using WHEB's proprietary methodology and rely on assumptions and on unaudited company-reported data. Results assume the amount was invested for the whole of the impact year, so the impact associated with an actual holding will differ. Impact in past years is not a guide to future impact. Detailed explanations of the methodology are set out in WHEB's annual impact report.

Investors in WHEB's strategy are aligned with these positive impacts by investing in companies that form part of crucial supply chains that manufacture these products and provide these services. WHEB's investments contribute to the attainment of the impact, however, are not solely responsible. The impact is therefore referred to as 'associated'.
