The Fund is an SFDR Article 9 fund, meaning it has a clear sustainability objective incorporating both environmental and social aims and meets sustainability-related disclosure and reporting requirements.
Understanding impact is increasingly viewed as a third dimension of investment expertise, alongside the established disciplines of assessing investment risk and return.
A proprietary Impact Engine evaluates the intensity of the positive impact created by each company's products and services, providing an overall impact intensity rating. This sits alongside fundamental quality analysis, which assesses business model strength, financial management and the handling of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

Renewed conflict between the US and Iran pushed energy prices sharply higher, reviving inflation concerns and driving government bond yields to multi-year highs in several major economies. This rise weighed on share prices across our impact universe, yet this setback has owed more to sentiment than to substance. In several cases, share prices have fallen even as the companies behind them have continued to grow.
