Background

Before joining Guinness in 2026, Ty was Associate Fund Manager at WHEB Asset Management, which was acquired by Foresight Group in 2025. Before this, he was a senior associate at United Overseas Bank (UOB) in Hong Kong until 2009. He started his career as an analyst at Accenture.

Ty is a CFA charterholder. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc in Software Engineering, and an MSc in Finance from London Business School.
