Hiring of Craig Veysey marks Guinness Global Investors’ expansion into Fixed Income

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Craig Veysey, a fixed income specialist with over 25 years of experience managing active global bond strategies.

Craig joined the Global Fixed Income team at HSBC in 2000 and later moved to Scottish Widows as a Senior Fund Manager for Fixed Income. He has since worked at Sanlam as Head of Fixed Income for over 9 years, before becoming Head of Global Strategic Bonds at Man GLG for another 5 years.

We will be launching a proprietary Guinness Bond Fund with Craig as investment manager this year, with more details to come as Craig builds out our fixed-income capabilities.

Craig will be developing a high-conviction, benchmark-unconstrained global bond strategy focused on delivering attractive income and long-term capital growth. The strategy will take a diversified, flexible approach, covering government and investment-grade bonds across a range of markets and maturities. The strategy will also maintain a focus on high-quality, highly liquid bonds, aligning closely with the Guinness in-house strategy.

This represents an exciting milestone in expanding our range of quality investment opportunities that support long-term outcomes for our clients.
