Responsibilities

Ivor is the Head of Investment Risk and is responsible for independently assessing funds and across the business.

Background

Ivor joined Guinness in 2024 and has built the Investment Risk department. Prior to his current role he was the Global Head of Investment Risk at Aberdeen Asset Management for eight years, overseeing investment risk across the firm’s entire fund range. Before this he was an equity trader at Merrill Lynch International, primarily trading equities and equity derivatives within the Proprietary Trading Group, following an earlier role in the firm’s risk management division.

Ivor has a BSc in Accounting and an MSc in International Banking and Finance.
