Responsibilities
Jamie is a co-Portfolio Manager for the Guinness Sustainable Energy and Guinness Global Environment strategies, investing in companies that provide solutions to the global energy transition and broader environmental challenges.
Background
Jamie joined Guinness Global Investors in 2019 as an investment analyst, serving as the analytical lead on the Sustainable Energy strategy. In 2025, he co-launched the Guinness Global Environment strategy alongside co-manager Jordan Patel.
Prior to Guinness, Jamie was an investment manager at Railpen, where he specialised in thematic research and sustainable investments across public and private markets. Before that, he was a thematic equity analyst at Berenberg. Jamie is also a board member of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF).
Jamie is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and has passed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. He graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Mathematics.
